Customer Focused Billing

Project Summary: CFB is designed to be a world class billing system for
British Telecom (BT). This project is to enable BT maintain and
increase its presence in the market amid severe competitive pressures
by developing a billing system that is comprehensive, flexible and
futuristic. The key objective of CFB is to facilitate billing a
customer for usage of BT's services. The customer base of BT
includes 10000 large customers, 1.5 million business customers and 5
million residential customers. Currently, BT has separate billing
systems for each of its services like PSTN, Mobile, Telex, ISDN,
Private circuits, etc. CFB enables BT to consolidate the customer
usage across different services and also to offer discounts against the
combined usage. CFB also supports flexible reporting wherein the
customer can get his invoice on any day of the year at any frequency.
Report packages are an additional feature where the customer gets the
details of the services used in any layout requested. The reports are
available in various formats like paper, Magnetic Media... etc. Copies
of the bill, Irregular bill, reruns and reprints are also available
that provides maximum customer satisfaction

as Configuration tool.
