Hi,

Can anyone answer this question for me regards overstays.
My son overstayed in the USA to be with his American Girlfriend(now
split up).
He stayed 1 year in total. This was back in 2002. Last year whilst
passing through the USA to go onto Canada he was arrested at the
airport. They had caught up with him. He can now only enter the US with
a visa,
Does an overstay violation stay on your records forever or can you
eventually get this revoked?.

He is not a bad lad just fell in love.

Worried.
