I am currently waiting for my priority date (nov 2004) to become
current so I can do the next step of my EB3 GC. The priority date for
EB3 has not moved in a few months and its starting to worry me. The
company I work at may be sold within a year or two and my priority
date may not be reached by then.
Meanwhile I already have more than 5 years of experience, I have been
promoted to vice president at work (though not with a new h1b). So my
question is could I file for a GC under the EB2 priority? I have been
told the requirements are 5 years of experience plus a bachelors
degree, is that it?
will I need a new h1b?
will I need a new labor certification?
how long does the labor certification take nowadays?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
