My aunt is a US permanent resident and is considering citizenship. She
is in her early 60's and speaks very little English. Whereas my US
permanent resident uncle is 70 and can handle English much more
fluently. My question is: do they have to demonstrate their knowledge
of English and take the US Citizenship test? I asked this question to
an immigration attorney and she can't tell me one way or another.
