Hi,

I filed a reentry permit application recently and it's still being
processed (I got the receipt
from them already, but granted yet).

I do not intend to return to the US for another 1.5 years, but I do
want to make a
short (1-2 weeks) trip to the US in around May - June to have a
wedding there.

Is it OK to do something like that? Or am I not supposed to return to
the US
until I get the reentry permit and/or decide to live there again?
