Thanks for the reply! That's great to hear :)

I had an impression that you can keep the green card only if you can
show them the intention to live in the US.

The problem I thought was that since I'll be away from the US for more
than 6 months when I travel to the US in May or June, and I wouldn't
be able to obtain the reentry permit by then, I'll have nothing to
prove that I still intend to live in the US in the future.

That's why I thought they'll take my green card away once I enter the
US for a short trip.

Am I worried too much??
