I am curious what they picked him up for? There must be many people who
are out of status, and who are also married to USCs. Some people have
been in that situation for years before they decide to file for AOS.
How would immigration know to go specifically pick up your husband? Or
was he arrested for something else, and then they found out he's out of
status? Just curious.
I think your case is beyond the scope of an internet forum, anyway...we
are mostly all laymen here, and you have a very complicated case. If I
were you, I'd look for a new attorney, and ask him why you couldn't file
all the AOS documents together.
