Was your son born in the USA within these past 2 years that you were
here? Are you asking if your child MUST remain in the USA after you
leave? The answer to that is no. Besides which, he would only be about
5 years old...who would he stay with in the USA when you go back home?


I don't think you can change his US citizenship if he was born in the
USA, however I believe you can apply for his Indian citizenship via the
Indian embassy in the USA.


What options are you looking for? I don't quite understand what your
ultimate goal is. Where is his mom and what's her status?
