I'm a little confused about your first statement I quoted. Two non-
USC parents cannot apply for US citizenship based on their child's
citizenship until the child turns 21. So this wouldn't apply to
you, anyway.

Although I don't know the specifics about US/Indian citizenship for your
child, I can't see that anything would happen to you personally. You
aren't eligible for US citizenship anyway, so nothing will happen to you
if you take your child to India.
