unlike london, there is no ug tube. to reach richardson, you can catch
a share shuttle from dfw. can run you around 25-40 usd. it may take a
while. but, you'll get there. depending upon where you want to live,
dallas is ok. living accommodation maybe higher than richardson. don't
know why you'd want to live in dallas if you can live within
richardson proper.
dallas is just like any other big cities. if you're unlucky, doesn't
matter where you are. overall it's ok. distance is a problem here. you
may seriously think about your own transportation. the dart (dallas
area rapid transit) rail doesn't have the extensive network that the
tube has.
at any rate, don't worry too much at this point. cross that bridge
when you get to it.
