Dear Sir /Madam
I have a question and hope you can help me in this area,I came to US
about 6 months ago and I have H1 visa.I was arrested in New jersey
because of shoplifting of $66 tank, which was so accidentally 2 months
ago and they took me to the police dept. and foot printed me and took me
a photo and one week ago I went to the court in Millburn and after my
Attorney efforts , judge undergraded my case to misordering in Store
,something like making noise and fined me $2000 which was so strange and
so high but I wasn't convicted . I got married 3 months ago here to
citizen man and I start the process of green card on Sept ,I want to
know is it effect my status and the greencard process or not?I mean with
this undergrading it might me that they denied me for getting Green
card?and something else If will decide to change my visa from H1 to F1
is there any problem because of the records?
I will be so appreciate if you could help me and tell me what will
happen in these cases.
many thanks in advance
