Your post is confusing. It is not clear what you were convicted
of. (Does your husband speak English? Maybe he could help you post
you query?)

You say you got married 3 months ago but filed for adjustment of status
in September? This doesn't make any sense...

When you apply for AOS, you can also file for employment authorization,
i.e. no need to switch to an F1.

But you really need an immigration attorney. Find one in your area by
looking at www.aila.org.
