Hiring a lawyer will not speed up the security checks. USCIS cannot
schedule you for an oath ceremony until your security checks are
finished. In fact, think think nowadays they don't even schedule your
interview until the security checks are finished. Security checks
indeed can take anywhere from days to years. There is no way of knowing
how long yours will take.
