Don't mean to hijack the thread but I have a question about the
background checks too. I have my AOS appointment for my GC on May 21. I
have a trip overseas in June I just found out about (wedding) what I
was wondering is even if I am 'approved' at the interview will I still
most likely be waiting on my background checks? I am preparing myself
not to be able to go :( and no i didn't have enough warning to get
advanced parole
