In our experience, the AP came before the EAD did. Haven't heard
any reports lately on time frames, but it's my understanding that
in general, it takes about 2 months to get the AP, and 3 months to
get the EAD.

The EAD and AP are not dependent on each other, so you can't really ask
how the timelines between them are related. They're not related at all.
Just depends on how fast NBC processes each of them.
