Employment Authorization & Advanced Travel Parole: How long between the two? Posted on: Mon, 30 Apr 2007 21:37:30 +0000


My wife received her Employment Authorization today. We applied for it
at the same time as filing for our Lawful Permanent Residence. What I'm
wondering about now is how long it will take before she receives her
Advanced Parole to travel. Does anyone here have any experience of
that? Are we likely to get the Advance Parole soon? We have tickets to
travel to the UK in June (for a couple of weeks) and we don't want to
cause problems for ourselves by my wife beginning work now if she then
doesn't get the advanced parole in time. Thanks! I'd be interested to
hear of others' experience on this one.
