You're not reading very carefully--I dont' think that is true ("up to
his mood"). You are in a long-term relationship+marriage, and I don't
think your case is the same as someone who met online, met once, did a
K-1 fiance visa and could only stay married for 11 months.
Try to not look at the absolute worst case (altho those cases seem to be
easily approved too!).
