My friend returned to her home country voluntarily and she has been
out of the country for eight plus years now. She wanted to know what
happens when her 10 year bar is up in October 2008. Will she have any
issues with being able to travel to the U.S. in the future. She is
now a canadian citizen. She has also applied for I-192 waiver, which
she is expecting to come through shortly. Does applying for waiver in
any way affect anything?
I have not seen any information regarding people who have been out of
U.S. for the bar period (either 3 years or 10) and their experience in
traveling back and forth to the U.S. She is now dating a U.S. citizen
and will it have any affect on applying for permanent residency etc.
