NVC had sent a letter for a missing document to my recipient brother
overseas and a page with OF-230-I, stating that NVC has received the I-
864 but still waiting for the IV fees. This was sent to me for action by
my brother as I am the petitioner. It request for the fee to be
submitted according to the IV fee bill sent from NVC. If IV fee bill has
not been received to contact NVC. I don't understand this, as the OF-230-
I can not be found on any of the immigration forms. On a lawyers
website, the form is for Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien
Registyration Biographic Data. This is equivalent to DS-230. Should the
recipient fill up the DS-230. Is this one way for NVC to delay the
processing of documents then deny receiving all the required documents
or claim that they were lost? Why can't they provide all the required
documents all at one time, instead of staggering sending them to
recipients or petitioners? Does anyone know where to file a complaint
for rude NVC customer service representatives? The way they treat us is
not acceptable at all. Does anyone had a bad experience with these
employees? We need to voice out and let their supervisors how bad they
treat the people who calls for information. Please provide name of point
of contact and possible phone number to call in to file complaint.
