The point is that "countries don't have friends, countries have interests"
(DeGaulle).
You aren't anything special just because you happen to be a Brit.
And if you really think that the US is a "promised land", you need a reality
check, anyway.
Parts of the US are much more "rain soaked" than the UK...
And you have to work as hard or harder here than in good ol' Europe...
And finally, it is not about "the rich", it is about the educated.
