Yep -- but the backlog may not be linear. There will be highs and lows
depending on what was happening at the time. So the date can shoot
forward quickly, then sit and fester in the same place for yonks. I
don't know why you're worrying about it -- whatever you do it's ages
off. Get on with your current life and check the dates once a year or
so. When it gets close, start planning.

Once read some prat on here who'd had one of these petitions in and was
moaning he couldn't possibly come in the six month validity of the visa
since he wasn't ready! Somehow, I don't think this will be your problem.
