I suppose it can take a very long time. To give you an example, a
Pakistani friend of mine went for his interview (K-1) last year. After
being on admin processing after his interview for 11 months, they
finally sent him his visa via courier. There was a typo on the visa
expiration date (it said 2006 where it should have said 2007). They
suggested coming in to the embassy and they would fix it...but he lives
far from that city and they said it was OK to send it back via courier.
That was 3 months ago and he's heard nothing again since. All he's
doing is waiting for them to correct a typo on the visa and send it back
to him...that's taking 3 months. He knows it got to them, he has the
delivery receipt. Anytime he emails to ask what's happing on his case,
they tell him to be patient. :(

Hopefully yours goes faster....but unfortunately it COULD be a very
long wait.

Rene
