Subject: Stuck abroad with expired passport!

Subject: Stuck abroad with expired passport!

My passport just expired and since I owe child support it is my
understanding I can not get a new U.S. passport. What can I do? I have
no money to pay the child support debt and I am stuck in a foriegn
country without a passport. Any advice would be very welcomed. Many
thanks.

I should mention that i did not leave the country to avoid child
support. I do make payments to the best of my ability but it is not
the full amount because i don't have that kind of money.
