Why? Is that when time began in the Americas? Are you suggesting
that every people group that existed in 1492 in the Americas had
always existed in the land where they where? That there were no
invasions other people territories, forced migrations, and
depopulations of existing people groups?

Why pick 1492 as the starting point, unless you are biased against one
particular group of people?
