Interesting. So if they create a list of no-shows at jury selection time
and allow MVA to cross-reference it before granting drivers licenses...
naah, that would be too much to hope for. But there is a penalty for not
showing up for jury duty and it's not as easy to blow it off as before.

Encouraging news indeed. Thanks. I'll be paying attention. Changing the
topic for just a second, any thoughts on whether Chief Clerk Monohan's
testimony will have any effect on O'Malley's special session and the wide
sweeping tax hikes enacted today? I believe the claims are that some
procedural violations that are contrary to Maryland's constitution
occurred. I have my doubts anything will come of it but you never know.
