Hello There,
I have a I-485 July 2007 receipt date (Nebraska SC) and I have already
been finger printed but I have not been interviewed.

I am now wondering where on the web I can find the progress rate of
I-485 approvals for employment based applications?

The reason I ask is that my mother is elderly and I am afraid that one
of these days I may get *the call* and have to be by her side outside
the USA.

Now, I am wondering that if the current progress rate is around 2 or
more years then it might be prudent for me to pay up the $300 and
apply Advance Parole is form I-131 before hand as it takes some
months to get the approval?

If it's less tha 15 or less months, and I am almost halfway through
the process -- then i might just take the chance and not apply.
