I was on non-profit H1B, when I had an offer from a company and they
processed my industrial H1B, and my spouse's H4, I got approval and
then the company restructured, and did not want me to join.
The bottom line is: the industrial H1 for me and H4 for my wife was
approved but never used. Currently I am on academic H1B thru
university good thru may 2009,but my wife's H4 expires in
November'08 because I did not foresee this change of career.

The question is: is my wife's H4 from the company still valid?
How it all works? I am confused!
We are planning to visit our home country this summer.
Any advice will be appreciated.
