2 years University(Fine Arts) + 1 year Assoc. Degree(Design) + 4 Posted on: Thu, 27 Mar 2008 00:06:36 +0000 (UTC)

Hi all,

I am currently employed in the United States under a TN Visa(I am from
Canada) as a Graphic Designer. I work for a very prominent media
organization. My employer wants to switch me to a TN visa due to
concerns with the fragility of the TN Visa. I have some questions
before I get their lawyers to spend thousands of dollars on this:

I am concerned I will not meet the educational requirements. I have
two years of a Bachelor in Fine Arts and 1 year in a Design Program,
both from major accredited University's. I also have 4 years of
related experience, two of those years being in very strong roles in
Canada and the States.

I am wondering if that will add up to the 4 years required for a
Bachelors. Also, I am concerned that should this application fail, I
will run into trouble should I need to renew the TN Visa.

Does anybody have thoughts on this?
