While each embassy has some different ways of doing things. I believe
since he got the package he must have an appointment date. you said he
is scheduled for the medical. he should have applied for the police
clearance when you sent in the petition. he must have the documents
that they request before the appointment date.

Even tho K visa are considered N0NIMMIGRANT visas the immigration visa
section in embassy manila processes the application.
