Subject: Travel to USA with summary Drug conviction Posted on: Sun, 30 Mar 2008 12:06:33 +0000 (UTC)

Here's my dilema. I am working for a US based company in Canada for 7
yrs. I have a summary conviction for marijuana (less than a gram) from
20 yrs ago. This company has asked me to go to the US head office for
training in a couple of weeks. They do not know I have a record (they
never asked, wasn't on the employment application forms).

I've applied for a passport, should get it next week

No time for a waiver or pardon. takes many months.

I have never flown into the US.

What's the procedure at US customs?

Do they ask everyone about a record?

If they do ask will they check your answer?
