So much for immigration being the magic thing that drives prosperity
and diversity being our strength. It looks like the white
supremacists were right that having an open border with a Third World
country and massive immigration would destroy our standard of living
and way of life. California was a better place when Silicon Valley
was still an agricultural Garden of Eden and Orange County was a
white, right wing, bastion of the John Birch Society. Much of
California now resembles Guatamala, El Salvador, and Hong Kong. Our
worst politicians who represent the greatest threat to our national
security and way of life come from California and it's neighbors
Arizona and Utah. One must wonder how long it will be before they'll
need security walls like the Israelis built not only on the Mexican
border, but within California itself to ghettoize the Third World
invaders in their own Nuevo Tijuanas.
