I will be going to Mauritius in September.

I have done some research on hotels in Mauritius and have narrowed down the
hotels to the following list:
Merville
India Resort
Le Tropical
Coin de Mire
Elysium

Have you stayed at any of these hotels?
How would you rate the hotel in terms of accomodation and food?

Also have you ever driven a hire car on Mauritius? Is it easy to get around?
Is it easy to find petrol(gas) stations?
