It seems the esteemed Surreyman has a few of his facts wrongs.
a) I have never popped up. This is my first posting.
b) I am a 27 year old female (no wife surprisingly)
c) Any western woman out and about without a man (and sometimes with)
WILL be harassed in the revolting manner I described. I speak from
personal experience. As a man, you obviously don't get it. Send your
daughter out for a day in the Rabat medina and see how your opinion
changes. Although I suspect you are the type of gin sipping, hotel
poolside dweller who doesn't venture out into real Morocoo, hence
your rosy view of the situation.
