Hmm, weather and food are in the eye of the beholder. The weather is worse
in Seattle, IMHO. However, if you like potatoes, grease and fried mystery
meat, the food isn't all that bad. :-)
I did as much of my own cooking as possible, and ate quite well. Excellent
smoked meats, diverse cheeses, great wines, caviar, salmon and
seafood......yum. Its the local Russian/Latvian cuisine that is so bad.
