no problem in south africa and namibia very good road
to rent a car is not expensive and easy

there is 400 km from jo burg to kruger park
il you drive slowly you reach in 5 hours.

no problem to drive in park

we rent a car at sany rental in joburg,
I travel with my wife, anay body else,
no problem with camping,
the only probem was rain...
and it was a realy small problem...
