Yeah wonderful place to go. Try the Indian Restaurant at Bakau (New Moon I
think it is called), you could stay in the hotel at Bakau (Called Bakotou)
for about £10 per night, great showers, warmish water and good bars. Ask for
a driver named DO DO, he runs a green Mercedes Bush Taxi. He is very
reasonable - say you know Preacher man from Manchester. Also try Kebar who
is security at Senegambia he is a very good driver. Always make sure you
agree the price in advance Use green bush taxi cars rather than the yellow
and green ones, much cheaper, okay they are a little more rickety but they
are cheaper.
Do not miss going to Churchills at Palma Rima, fantastic food and very
reasonable. You could also try the cafe at Bakau Pier, wonderful steak
sandwiches.
Most of the bumsters have now gone so you shouldnt get too much hassle.
