Hallo Dirk - just as a point of interest. SATOUR are no longer the legal
body that handles the registration of guides or operators. They are only a
marketing division now. All guides must now register with the Department of
Tourism in the particular province where they live. In this case it will be
in at the Western Cape Department of Tourism. The actual testing is handled
by various appointed trainers or training facilities, mostly technicons or
universities.
Greetings

Koos Greeff.
Specialist Safari Operator.
