Hi Greg,

I stayed in the Kalahari for 10 days last December and drove a 2x2 Condor so
I think I can give you some advice. At the start your stay I'd book one or
two nights at Twee Rivieren. Game viewing can be very good in the Twee
Rivieren area, so two nights would be my choice. When I was in Twee Rivieren
we had a number of excellent lion and brown hyena sightings. From Twee
Rivieren I would suggest going to Kalahari Tented Camp for two nights. I
haven't stayed there myself because it was fully booked when I wanted to
stay there so I don't know any details about that camp. Game viewing in that
area is usually very good. From Kalahari Tented Camp I'd go to Nossob next.
Game viewing there was disappointing last December, but two years ago it was
excellent so I guess I had some bad luck there last time. From Nossob I'd go
to Grootkolk for two nights. Grootkolk is my favourite camp, although there
wasn't a lot of game around when we were there.
When I was in the Kgalagadi it was very dry, but since December the
Kgalagadi has had a lot of rain. I spoke to one of the Twee Rivieren staff
last week and she said that the Kgalagadi has been transformed from a desert
into a savanna :)

This road is a normal dirt road through the dunes, and it is suitable for a
2x2 Condor.

For more information about the park and the restcamps you can check out the
Kgalagadi section on my web-site (http://www.wildlifephotography.nl).
