Chloroquine and Paludrine/Proguanil are a pretty standard and mild
combination and you don't need to worry about the kind of worse-than-the-
disease side effects that Lariam has been known to cause.

That's not to say they're entirely safe - as always ask your doctor and
make sure you don't have any pre-existing problems that go against the
drug maker's recommendations.
