There used to be, at least in theory.

Gosh, as we say, each to his own!
I'd far rather take my cameras + kit than a laptop!
(Don't think I'd ever be able to take both: I'm always pushing the weight in
economy, especially hand baggage)

(Of course you could always get a cheaper/2nd hand camera for the trip.)
