UK to South Africa Posted on: Sat, 25 Jun 2005 04:13:14 +0000 (UTC)

Hi, my name is Tim and I'm planning a trip from UK to South Africa
travelling through France - Italy - Tunis - Libya - Egypt -Sudan -
Kenya - Tanzania - Malawi - Mozambique - Zimbabwe - Botswana - Namibia
- South Africa.
This is not an ad for paying passengers. It is my adventure and someone
is welcome to come along paying for half fuel costs and their food. I
am a 35 year old Australian with Oz and UK passports, I have 5 years
experience in Africa and Australia as a tour guide, a qualified Toyota
mechanic, self employed computer technician. We will travelling with a
Japanese 4X4, camping in tents or cheap accommodation, guided by up-to
date maps and modern GPS software with new laptop and 18GB of MP3's
This trip is not for someone in a hurry, I plan to spend one to two
years in a complete trip around Africa, taking maybe 4 to 6 months to
arrive in South Africa.
Estimated costs for half fuel, food, drinks etc from UK to South Africa
is about US$5-8,000 as diesel is quite cheap in most of Africa.
I am a friendly, happy person with a good sense of humour, the person
should be similar and of ages from 18 to 35, male of female with a
sense of adventure and be honest.
You can see a picture of me at http://www.geocities.com/timroving/me
I am planning to leave UK sometime in early August 2005. I am only
looking for one person, but will take two if pushed. You do not have to
do all the trip and I am willing to take people for short legs if
wanted.
Please feel free to contact me via this site or by E-Mailing at address
at above site.
Thanks for your time.... Tim
