Worth noting is that it might actually be cheaper if you hire both a
car and driver. Cab drivers in Kampala aren't pulling in anywhere near
$65 a day, and you probably wouldn't have any problem convincing one to
show you around the country for a couple weeks.

But yeah, that's pretty steep. Especially considering you can get the
full-on safari treatment including driver, meals and accomodation for
that much.

By the way, Uganda rocks. The safari industry hasn't sucked the soul
out of it like Kenya and Tanzania. People there are genuinely friendly
and not just trying to get your money.
