Dave, I think it's still $25 USD per day in the lesser known parks like
Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Arusha, etc ... but in January the entrance
fee doubled to $50 for Serengeti, and I think $60 for Kilimanjaro ...
to enter Ngorongoro crater it's now $100 (!!), a four-fold increase ...
and at Ngorongoro they are proposing to make it $100 for either morning
or afternoon but you can't stay all day, in an effort to cut back on
over-crowding ... when we were there four weeks ago they had a modified
version of this, the entry was $100 and we could stay all day but if we
left for, say, lunch, we couldn't go back in without paying another
$100.

Have you actually sent many clients to Serengeti in the April - May
rainy season? If so, any major problems when it rained? We have a
chance to return in early April when the Serena Lodges have
significantly lower rates at Lake Manyara and Serengeti, just wondering
how much of a risk that might be.
