No mean spirit intended. It's very common to hear the term
"basket-case" used in reference to these countries, mostly because it's
accurate. Just type "basket-case africa" into Google and you'll get
about 264,000 hits. Sadly, it's an accurate description, and perhaps
the main reason that so few people want to visit - which is the point
here. Take your head out of the sand.
