I'd go like a shot. Lalibela is one of the most amazing places on earth.
Friends of mine have lived there and know the place well. They say it's
easy to travel round once you get there as the domestic airline is very
good (one of the best safety records of any). You may end up riding as
supercargo with a load of qat, but you'll get there.
