You could do it, but you would be racing from one destination to
another. Seems a bit like the Chinese who want to "see Europe in three
days". Why not skip at least half of the destinations and have some time
to relax and enjoy being at a destination.

Some (not all!!!) rental companies allow vehicles to be taken into
Mozambique. But you have to make sure beforehand.
