Heh. Lucky you. The last two trips I've been on, I lost my luggage on
the flight back -- the first time on a non-stop flight, the second
time on a direct flight with a layover (e.g. no switching of planes).
And neither time did they have any idea where the bag was, although I
assume it was bumped off the flight for weight reasons.
The flight before that, the trip back was four hours late. And that
was JFK-BOS, so that four hours was much longer than the putative
flight time.
