For the guy who's going to Bangkok/Hong Kong/Beijing/etc:

The Red Cross has, or used to have anyway, a facility in a park-like
setting in central Bangkok that collects and distributes anti-snake bite
serums for all of Southeast Asia. They have a daily? weekly? public
shows where you can sit on bleachers around the snake pits and watch the
handlers play with and milk cobras and other snakes of all sizes for
their venom.
