With the continued scrunch in seat pitch, one should expect that more
passengers will go into commando recline mode. As such, it is well past
time for the airlines to limit the seat recline to something reasonable
(and some airlines are already starting to do this). Or else do like
Air Canada and have the seat pivot forward as the back is reclined. So
the passenger can determine for themselves if they want leg room or
recline. But they cannot have both at the expense of the person seated
directly behind them.
