FOXY VANISHING INTO THIN AIR
July 8, 2007 -- WHERE in the world is Foxy Brown? Multiple people
close to the rapper told Page Six they haven't had any contact with
her in over a week.
"We're all trying to find Foxy," Brown's lawyer, State Sen. Jack
Sampson, told us. Her publicist, family members and friends also came
up empty when we asked for their help in tracking down the rap artist.
"She's probably getting some much needed rest," said Sampson. "She's
been given authorization to travel and she could be working on her
album. She is trying to get her album done. Depending on whom she's
working with, she could be anywhere."
The last reported sighting of Brown was the night of Friday, June 29,
when fellow passengers at JFK Airport say she boarded American
Airlines Flight 100 to London. Our first-class-cabin spies told us
Brown delayed the flight an hour so that her entourage could board.
"She was trying to hold up the show because some of her entourage was
late," said one passenger. "She got off the plane, then on, then off
again. We're sitting there for an hour and then the pilot comes on and
said we'd be waiting a little longer for some people. Then another
hour went by and they had to refuel.
"The flight attendants said it was some of the most atrocious behavior
they ever saw."
Brown, who was "spilling out of" a short green dress, "finally got on
with her group and traded her first-class seat for a business-class
seat so she could sit next to one of her people. It was an overbooked
flight, so 400 people have to be inconvenienced? Some of them missed
their connecting flights," our witness claimed.
American Airlines spokesman Ned Raynolds acknowledged the flight was
55 minutes late into Heathrow, but refused to give a reason for the
delay. He would also not confirm or deny that Brown - real name: Inga
Marchand - was on the flight.
But Brown has a history of despicable diva stunts. She recently blew
off a probation meeting stemming from charges she beat up two Chelsea
manicurists in 2004.
Brown also remains charged in Florida with allegedly spitting and
flinging hair-extension glue at a beauty-shop owner, then swatting at
the cop who tried to arrest her.
Her lawyer, Sampson, told us, "Yes, she could be hibernating in
London." A rep for her at Def Jam had no comment. |
